Dorothy Papin’s Biography
My parents were Wild West rodeo performers and regulars with a traveling circus. Mother appeared as a mermaid, while Dad ate fire, sewed buttons to his chest, and was electrocuted on a nightly basis. It made for an interesting time growing up.
I think I bring that same quirky background and passion to my cooking. My influences include the ‘Minimalist’ food blogger/journalist from the NY Times, ‘Chef John’ from the Food Wishes Channel on YouTube, Epicurious, America’s Test Kitchen, and a bevy of food artisans across California and Central Texas!
